The descriptions were originally saved in WordPad. However, they now show up under Managed Information File Card and I cannot access them. How do I access my files?

There could be two reasons for this issue:
The software is corrupted, therefore the software recognizes the files as being available for other program.
You have assigned inappropriate file extensions for the files.
Try opening them using right click. Start My Computer or Windows Explore, then locate the files. Right click them and select Open with and choose the application you've used to create them.
